Eligibility for Membership to MSIS

Active membership is open to licensed Orthopedic Surgeons, Specialists in Infectious Disease, and other licensed medical practitioners, or scientists, who demonstrate an interest in musculoskeletal infection through the focus of their clinical practice, focus of their research as evidenced by studies, writings, lectures musculoskeletal infection, or otherwise, and who are of good ethical standing in his or her professional group and community.  

Associate membership is open to allied health professionals who have similar professional profiles.

Members are expected to remain active in the field of musculoskeletal infection, attend at least one annual meeting of the MSIS every four years, and abide by the By-Laws of the MSIS.

Annual dues are currently $225 per year.

To apply for membership 

        1- Open   Membership Application Form

        2- Print the 2 page application form using the 'Print...' command under the File menu  

        3- fill in all the required information 

        4- request your 2 Active Member references to send a letter of reference directly to the MSIS 

        5- mail the completed application form to the MSIS
