and Publication in CORR Symposium

Selection of papers for presentation at the Annual Open Scientific Meeting of the Musculoskeletal Infection Society is a peer review process.
The deadline for abstract submission is Sunday May 9, 2010.
Authors will be notified of selection decisions by e-mail.

Guidelines for Abstract submission
Abstract Submission is by E-Mail
1- right click
Abstract Form
then 'save target as' to your computer
to use this form you MUST
i) right click >> 'save target as' to your computer
ii) then open in Adobe Reader 7.0 or newer, or Adobe Acrobate 8.0 or newer
2- complete the abstract form
for APPLE users proceed at your own peril!!
use Safari, or complete in APPLE PREVIEW, then save as .pdf;
manually attach and e-mail to programchairman@msis-na.org,
the Submit by E-Mail button does not work on an apple computers

4- save to your computer. Rename the completed Abstract Submission Form by adding the last name of
the corresponding author to the end of the file name, so that the file name appears as:
MSIS Abstract 2010 LastName
If the same corresponding author submits more than one abstracts, then the file name should
include a number after the author’s name, so that the file name appears as:
MSIS Abstract 2010 LastName Number
For example if corresponding author “Smith” submits two abstracts the first file should be
named MSIS Abstract 2010 Smith 1 and the second file should be named MSIS Abstract 2010 Smith 2
5- submit the form by clicking the 'Submit By E-Mail' button

6- for each submission you may attach to the same e-mail one additional file with a table, graph or jpg image
 format tables in Microsoft Word
 Figures should be between 4 to 6 inches in width
 line-art drawings must be at least 600 dpi and grayscale pictures at least 300 dpi to ensure quality reproduction.

7- Immediately after online submission, for EACH abstract, please fax a completed Disclosure Form for EACH author

Only the information on the form and one file will be considered for presentation and included inthe program if accepted.
Guidelines for Submission to Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research (CORR)
Papers presented at the annual meeting may be invited to be published in CORR's Proceedings of the Annual Meeting at the discretion of the Program Chair.
For consideration to be invited for publication in the CORR Proceedings, a full manuscript of the paper in CORR format must be submitted to the Program Chair before August 1, 2010. Please see http://www.editorialmanager.com/corr/ for details regarding the specific guidelines and format. Invitation to be published will be based on both the objective grading of the submitted manuscript and the material presented at the meeting.
Authors will be notified by e-mail on or before August 15, 2010 regarding invitation to publish status. Papers invited for publication in the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting must be submitted electronic to CORR by September 1, 2010.
